Liberty Stottor plays Heather Chandler. Jessica Ibadin plays Heather Duke. Lou Henry plays Heather McNamara.
The three actors lead the ensemble seen in the clip. The trailer puts this touring company on screen together. It follows the production around the UK and Ireland.
The musical is based on the 1989 film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater. Music, lyrics and book are by Kevin Murphy and Laurence O'Keefe.
The stage version premiered in Los Angeles in 2013. It then transferred to New York's New World Stages in 2014. A transfer means a production moves from its original venue into another theatre.
A revised version opened in London in 2018. Since then it has played three West End runs to date. The West End is London's main commercial theatre district. It has also played three tours across the UK and Ireland to date.
The London production won Best New Musical at the WhatsOnStage Awards in 2019. It was later filmed for streaming on the Roku Channel in 2022.
The tour is directed by Andy Fickman. Choreography is by Gary Lloyd.
The show has a parallel life in New York. Off-Broadway means smaller professional theatres outside Broadway's main district. The show's New York site lists Isabella Esler as Veronica Sawyer and Aniya Thompson as Martha Dunnstock. Heathers The Musical
Playbill has reported further company changes there, with Anneliese van der Pol's engagement continuing through 26 October and Kate Rockwell set to return as Ms Fleming for the final week.
The official site also lists a tour to Australia and New Zealand from April 2026. Its early history is noted too. The developmental workshop in Los Angeles sold out immediately and featured Jason Alexander, Kristen Bell, Jackie Tohn and Yvette Nicole Brown.
For fans, this means a quick way to meet the current tour company. The trailer is short. The CV is long.
