Rosé to perform at LACMA Art+Film Gala honouring Villeneuve and Celmins

Rosé will perform at this year's LACMA Art+Film Gala in Los Angeles, set for 7 November, according to Variety.
The booking puts a global pop star at the centre of one of the autumn's best-known arts fundraisers. The gala is held by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, known as LACMA, and brings film and visual art together for a single night.
This year's honourees are filmmaker Denis Villeneuve and artist Vija Celmins, Variety reported. The evening is co-chaired by Eva Chow and Leonardo DiCaprio, with Gucci as presenting sponsor.
Rosé arrives with recent awards momentum. Her single "APT." with Bruno Mars earned three Grammy nominations, according to Variety. She is a member of the group Blackpink, performing here as a solo artist.
Last year's edition gives a sense of the scale. Doja Cat performed at the 2025 gala, which honoured filmmaker Ryan Coogler and artist Mary Corse. That night raised $6.5 million, Variety reported.
The 2026 event is the fifteenth annual edition, listed by LACMA for Saturday, 7 November 2026. The museum describes the gala as a key source of funds for its exhibitions and programmes.
The gala has a history of pairing honourees from art and film with a headline music act. Artist Judy Baca and filmmaker David Fincher were honoured at the 12th annual gala, where Lenny Kravitz gave a special performance. Elton John performed at the 11th annual gala.
For fans, this means a return with a new role for Rosé. She attended the 2022 gala as a guest, alongside names including Kim Kardashian. Four years on, she is the night's performer.
