Prime Video brings back Skins Game to open Black Friday sports marathon

Golf's Skins Game is back on Black Friday, teeing off 15 hours of live sport on Prime Video.
Coverage starts at 9 a.m. ET on the morning after Thanksgiving, with the golf contest opening a slate that also includes an NFL game and an NBA doubleheader, according to Deadline.
The four-man field brings together Wyndham Clark, Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas and PGA Tour rookie Jackson Koivun. They will play for $4 million in prize money at Atlantic Fields Club in Hobe Sound, Florida.
The format is simple. Each hole carries a dollar value. If players tie a hole, the money rolls over to the next one. This year every player starts at zero dollars.
It is an old television idea with famous names attached. The Skins Game originated in 1983 as an annual made-for-TV contest over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Past participants include Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Tiger Woods. Prime Video brought the event back last year.
Andrew Catalon will return as host. Colt Knost will return as on-course analyst. Both are CBS Sports golf broadcasters. Dan Rapaport will provide live on-course commentary during the round.
Behind the cameras, the show is developed and produced by Pro Shop Studios and Propagate Content. PGA Tour Studios is handling broadcast production, while Excel Sports Management is organising play. The event is sponsored by Farmers Insurance.
Golf is only the start of the day. The Black Friday NFL game starts at 3 p.m. ET and features the Philadelphia Eagles against the Chicago Bears. Prime Video's NBA coverage will feature two Emirates NBA Cup games, the Miami Heat against the New York Knicks and the L.A. Lakers against the San Antonio Spurs.
For viewers, this means one subscription covers the full run. Golf in the morning. Football in the afternoon. Basketball at night. No channel hopping required.
