Bob Odenkirk pays tribute to Breaking Bad co-star RJ Mitte, 34

Bob Odenkirk has paid tribute to his Breaking Bad co-star RJ Mitte after Mitte's death at age 34.
Odenkirk, who played lawyer Saul Goodman in the AMC series, gave his remarks in a statement to People, published as an exclusive People. He described Mitte as a "good person who shared his personal story and his time to help out others," according to the statement reported by Deadline.
"Whenever I saw him, he was meeting the world with positivity and a strong desire to connect," Odenkirk said. "This is simply, deeply sad."
Mitte played Walter "Flynn" White Jr. in Breaking Bad, the son of Bryan Cranston's Walter White. Cranston also responded to the news, saying he was in "deep despair" over Mitte's death.
Representatives for Mitte confirmed he died by suicide in Brownsville, Texas. His publicist had earlier confirmed he took his own life, as reported by Reuters. His representatives asked for privacy for his family at this time.
Mitte was an American actor and disability rights advocate. He had cerebral palsy and was described by his representatives as a beloved actor, philanthropist and passionate disability rights advocate.
