ScHoolboy Q announces THank Que album for 2027

ScHoolboy Q will release a new album called THank Que in 2027.
He confirmed the title and timing while closing a Los Angeles show marking the 10-year anniversary of his album Blank Face LP. “New album called THank Que coming out next year. I promise you that,” he told the crowd, according to Billboard.
That points to next year. A separate report lists the project as slated for 2027, which lines up with his on-stage message given the current calendar year is 2026, according to HotNewHipHop.
He paired the album news with a longer-term pledge to the room. “Ten-year anniversary, and I’mma be around for the 20th too. I promise that. I will never retire,” he said.
The on-stage announcement followed a post on his Instagram Story, in which he said he was wrapping up a 12-song album called Thank Que. No tracklist, guest features or label release date have been confirmed beyond that title, song count and year.
The Los Angeles show was part of his anniversary run for Blank Face LP, his fourth studio album. What started as a planned one-night date at the Hollywood Palladium, a 4,000-capacity venue in Los Angeles, was expanded into a nine-city, 10-night tour for the anniversary.
THank Que would follow Blue Lips, his most recent album, which was released in 2024. That two-year gap is the shortest detail fans have for now on where the new record sits in his catalogue.
For fans, this means a wait with a fixed name. Twelve songs. One title. One year. And an artist telling a room full of people he plans to stay around for the next anniversary too.
