Miami duo B0YG1RL will release a self-titled album in October through Surf Gang Records. Pitchfork reported the news on September 24, 2026. The lead single, the first song shared to introduce an album campaign, is "Show Me."

The duo consists of June Vinette and Angela Rio. Both are based in Miami. A self-titled album takes the artist's name as its title. Singers and groups often use that choice when they want a release to feel like a statement of identity.

The new album centres on an end-of-the-world concept, according to the report. No plot summary has been published. No guest names have been confirmed either. For now, the theme is the frame. The music will fill in the picture.

"Show Me" gives the first clue to that sound. The track is electroclash-influenced, drawing on the early-2000s club style that mixed stiff electronic beats with punk-style vocals. Think short songs. Loud drums from machines. Vocals delivered flat and direct.

The video for "Show Me" was filmed at Club Space in Miami. That keeps the project in the duo's home city. A club shoot is a practical choice as well as a visual one. The room brings its own lights, crowd and late-night atmosphere without a built set.

Output is part of the story here. The self-titled album will be B0YG1RL's fourth release of 2026. Earlier this year the duo put out EXIT 2B, 777 and SIGNAL 01. Four separate releases in one calendar year is a fast rate. Each one needs songs, artwork and a rollout plan.

Some details are still to come. An exact release date within October had yet to be announced at the time of the report. A full tracklist had yet to be published either. Surf Gang Records, the label named as releasing the album, will handle that rollout, the staged sequence of single, announcement and release information.

For fans, this means a short wait with more to learn. October is only weeks away. That pace keeps attention, but it also asks a lot of listeners. The next updates to watch for are a date, a cover and a song list. Until then, "Show Me" is the entry point.
