Yellowjackets to End After Season 4 as Paramount+ Sets November Return

Yellowjackets will end with its fourth season, and the return date is set.
Paramount+ has released a teaser, meaning a short preview clip, for the closing run. The final season will premiere on Friday, 20 November 2026 on Paramount+'s premium tier, the higher-priced subscription level that carries Showtime programmes. The final-season confirmation and date were reported by Deadline.
The date was also listed in a Paramount+ preview published on 2 October. It gives viewers just over five weeks to wait from the teaser news on 14 October 2026. You will need the premium tier to watch on day one.
The teaser centres on the plane-crash survivors. It finds them back home after nearly two years in the wilderness. The clip is staged as an MTV News report, with anchor Serena Altschul presenting the story, as detailed by The Hollywood Reporter.
The series was created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson. It screens as a Showtime series. It is Emmy-nominated, meaning it has been shortlisted for the US television awards, according to Paramount.
In the final season, the story is organised around rescue. The survivors race to bury their past before help arrives. An old flame returns to town with plans of her own.
Season three delivered the series' largest streaming audience to date. It was the most-watched season in the series' history on Paramount+ with Showtime, based on the platform's own streaming count. Its finale was the most-streamed Yellowjackets episode ever, the company said in a previous announcement.
For fans, this means a proper goodbye. A final season gives the writers' room space to finish the story. There is no wait for a renewal decision. No series left on the bubble, meaning a renewal is still undecided.
What makes this stand out is the bulletin style. A fictional rescue played as real news blurs the line for a moment. Then the hook lands. The past is not buried yet.
