Gareth Reynolds will release his new stand-up special, 'Why Aren't You Bigger?', first on Gorilla Comedy+ on October 19.

The hour was made with comedy company 800 Pound Gorilla, and will get a two-step release, according to Deadline. It starts as an exclusive stream, meaning it is only available on one service at first. It then moves to a free window.

Two dates. Two platforms. After the October 19 launch on Gorilla Comedy+, the special will premiere on YouTube at 7 p.m. CT on November 10.

The special was filmed at The Den Theater in Chicago. That is a live taping in front of a theatre audience, later cut for streaming and online release.

Reynolds is a comedian, writer and actor. He is a familiar and favourite voice for podcast listeners as co-host of 'The Dollop' with Dave Anthony and 'We're Here to Help' with Jake Johnson.

His 2019 first album, 'Riddled With Disease', reached No. 1 on the Billboard Comedy Charts. His writing credits include 'Arrested Development' and 'You're the Worst'. His on-screen roles include 'New Girl' and 'Maron', according to Deadline.

For fans, this means a choice on how to watch. Catch it early on subscription with Gorilla Comedy+, or wait three weeks and stream it free on YouTube. Reynolds is repped by Gersh and by Logan Potter of Authentic Talent and Literary Management.
