The Rolling Stones will release 'Foreign Tongues, Loose Lips' on 27 November.

The set is a deluxe edition — an expanded version of an existing album with extra tracks — of 'Foreign Tongues', the group's 25th studio album of new recordings, Rolling Stone reported. A studio album here means a full-length collection of studio recordings, not a live album or a compilation. The move keeps the current album on sale with added material rather than opening a separate album campaign.

The deluxe edition adds five songs to the original track list. That structure will be familiar to anyone who buys albums regularly. The main record stays in place. The new songs sit alongside it in one package.

One of the five has circulated before in a limited way. 'Bad Luck Hideaway' was previously an iTunes-exclusive bonus track, which meant it was only available to customers who bought the digital version through Apple's iTunes store. Its inclusion here brings that track into the wider release for the first time. Listeners who did not buy that iTunes version can now hear it as part of the main set.

The other four songs have not been commercially released before. They are 'Where There's a Will,' 'She Still Comes Around,' 'Who You Callin' Crazy' and 'Human Tide.' All four make their debut on 'Foreign Tongues, Loose Lips.' The titles were confirmed as part of the track list for the expanded set.

The five additions will also be sold on their own. The band plans a standalone vinyl edition containing only the new tracks. Vinyl means the large plastic disc played on a turntable, still sold alongside CDs and downloads in most record shops. That option suits buyers who already own 'Foreign Tongues' and want the extras without paying for the full album a second time.

The new material was cut with producer Andrew Watt. A producer is the credited studio lead who helps arrange songs and shape the final sound. Watt has a recent history with the band. He worked with the Rolling Stones on 'Hackney Diamonds', their 2023 album that later won a Grammy, the annual awards run by the United States recording academy.

For fans, this means two ways to buy on the same date. Take home the full deluxe album with everything in one place. Or pick up the shorter vinyl with just the five songs.
