Dyrholm, Slater and Hemingway to Star in Dogma25 Film Incidents of Intimacy

Trine Dyrholm, Christian Slater and Dree Hemingway will star in Incidents of Intimacy, the second film in Zentropa's Dogma25 collection, as reported by Deadline on 15 October 2026.
The film is directed by Jesper Just. It is his first feature film.
Dogma25 is Zentropa's reboot of its 1995 Dogma Manifesto, the Danish company's famous experiment in stripped-back, rule-bound filmmaking. The idea, then and now, is to force stories to work without big technical tricks.
Dyrholm, Slater and Hemingway lead a wider ensemble. Johannes Lilleøre, Julie Agnete Vang, Laura Drasbæk and Michael Moritzen are also in the cast, according to Deadline.
Just wrote the script with Sissel Dalsgaard Thomsen. The partnership pairs a director new to features with a writer rooted in Danish film and television.
The wider plan is compact. Five filmmakers will each make a feature under Dogma25: May el-Toukhy, Milad Alami, Annika Berg, Isabella Eklöf and Jesper Just. All five films will be produced by Zentropa.
The Danish financing is shared. Zentropa is working with DR, Denmark's public broadcaster, and Nordisk Film Distribution, which handles cinema releases, with Netflix in the Nordics also involved, Deadline reported.
What makes this stand out is the mix. A Danish-led art-film rulebook now has an American star in Slater alongside Dyrholm, one of Denmark's best-known actors, and Hemingway. For viewers, that points to a small-scale shoot built around performance rather than spectacle.
