SXSW London will return to Shoreditch in east London from May 24 to May 29, 2027.

Organisers have fixed the six-day run for the festival's third consecutive year in the district, after a first London edition in 2025 and a second edition in June 2026, Billboard reported. The event describes itself as a festival for discovering what comes next in technology, culture and business.

The theme for 2027 is The Power of Human Potential. The programme will be organised into 14 programming tracks, the themed strands that group talks, panels and sessions.

Four returning tracks are AI & Experience, Frontier Technologies, Health & Longevity and Society Rewired. Two new tracks join the list: Future Earth and Sports.

Super early bird passes go on sale on Oct. 16. They will be sold at half price until Dec. 1. The official festival site lists passes from £210 at the discounted rate, SXSW London.

Last year gives a sense of scale. SXSW London 2026 drew more than 20,000 festivalgoers, with 863 speakers and 256 artists taking part. Past speakers across the London editions include Sir Tim Berners-Lee, Demis Hassabis, Michelle Obama, Esther Perel, the Russo brothers, Idris Elba and Dr. Jane Goodall.

For anyone hoping to take part, the deadlines are tight. Conference proposals for 2027 close on Nov. 12. Screen submissions, the route for filmmakers seeking screenings and premieres, close on Jan. 31, 2027.

Katy Arnander is chief programming officer at SXSW London. Billboard hosted THE STAGE at SXSW London, continuing its presence from SXSW in Austin, Texas.

For first-timers, this means one ticket covers a wide mix. Talks, music and screen events sit side by side, and the early ticket window is the cheapest way in.
