Blondie Announce High Noon, First Album Since 2017

Blondie will release High Noon, their 12th studio album and their first since 2017's Pollinator, on Feb. 26 via BMG, Billboard reported.
The wait was nine years. The new record runs to 13 tracks and is led by the single “Spectral Eyes,” which is out now.
“Spectral Eyes” was written by Johnny Marr, the former Smiths guitarist. Marr also plays guitar on the track and sings backing vocals, while former Sex Pistols bassist Glen Matlock appears on bass.
The album was produced by John Congleton. It is the last recording co-founders Debbie Harry and Chris Stein made with drummer Clem Burke before his death in 2025. Burke died at age 70 from cancer.
Other guests on High Noon include Matlock across the record, Beirut’s Zach Condon, and Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig of Lucius. The band’s website describes the sound as a blend of rock & roll and punk with dance music and Latin rhythms.
Harry described the album as classic Blondie, an amalgamation of different influences and eras into something new, according to the band’s website. She said it feels grounded in the present, shaped by who the band are and how they are living now.
For fans, this means new music after a long gap, plus a direct link to the band’s long history. Pollinator arrived in 2017. High Noon picks up the story with familiar names behind the microphone and some new collaborators in the room.
