Lady Helen Taylor Brings Sons Columbus and Cassius to Frieze London

Lady Helen Taylor turned the Frieze London VIP preview into a family outing, arriving with her sons Columbus Taylor and Cassius Taylor. Town & Country
Helen Taylor is the daughter of Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent, a member of Britain's extended royal family. She built a career in art before marriage, working in the contemporary department at Christie's, the international auction house, and at a London art gallery in the 1980s and early 1990s.
She married art dealer Timothy Taylor in 1992. The couple share four children: Columbus, Eloise, Estella and Cassius. Tatler
Columbus is the eldest. He works for his father's eponymous gallery, meaning the business carries Timothy Taylor's own name. Cassius took a different lane. He studied Arts Management at Goldsmiths, a London arts university, before co-founding the events consulting firm Telltale in 2022. He also records DJ sets as Noon Goon on SoundCloud, the music-sharing platform.
It was not her first Frieze as a royal guest. In October 2025, she attended the fair with Princess Eugenie, the younger daughter of Prince Andrew, and one of her sons.
The 2026 edition pairs Frieze London, which focuses on living artists and contemporary work, with Frieze Masters, which focuses on art made before 2000. Both run Oct. 14 to 18 in The Regent's Park in central London, with Wednesday hours listed as 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Frieze
A related outdoor show, Frieze Sculpture, runs Sept. 16 to Nov. 1 in the same park. It was curated for a fourth year by Fatoş Üstek.
What makes this stand out is how close it sits to daily life. For many visitors, Frieze is a once-a-year art marathon. For the Taylors, with a mother who once worked the auction floor and sons working in galleries, events and music, it looks like home turf.
