Amanda Seyfried Returns as Elizabeth Holmes in A24 Documentary

Amanda Seyfried is playing Elizabeth Holmes again, this time inside a three-hour documentary built around real access to Holmes at home.
The film is 'You Can See Everything', made by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim for A24, which had its premiere at the Telluride Film Festival, according to Variety. Holmes and her partner Billy Evans invited Fielder, Oppenheim and their crew into their home to film. Fielder lived with the couple 24/7 during the shoot.
Holmes is the former Theranos founder serving an 11-year prison sentence in the Theranos fraud case. The three-hour runtime leaves room to move between home life and that legal history. One sequence revisits Fielder's meeting with Holmes in prison.
Seyfried appears in two ways. She is herself on camera. She also plays Holmes in fictionalised re-enactments, scenes staged to replay real meetings, alongside Christopher Abbott as Evans. Seyfried previously won an Emmy for playing Holmes in Hulu's 2022 limited series 'The Dropout', a drama told in one short season, according to Variety.
Abbott and Seyfried re-create an early meeting between Fielder, Oppenheim and their A24 team with Holmes and Evans before filming began. The pair also stage the prison meeting between Fielder and Holmes. It is a simple device. Two actors sit in for moments the cameras did not capture.
What makes this stand out for viewers is the mix of access and staging. Real footage sits next to performance, and Seyfried shifts between witness and participant.
Variety on 16 October 2026 rounded up 20 of the film's most talked-about moments in a list article, according to Variety. The roundup notes full-frontal nudity among its entries. It also notes a Charlie Kirk shoutout.
The film was first reviewed as a surprise Telluride entry in early September, when Variety described it as a hangout-movie portrait. RogerEbert.com published its own review on 14 October 2026.
