Rory Culkin, Oona Roche, Hattie Hoskins and Mark Lane III have joined the cast of One Night Out, the new thriller from Orion Pictures, The Hollywood Reporter reported on 16 October.

They join Aldis Hodge and Wunmi Mosaku, who were previously announced to lead the film. The project is directed by George Tillman Jr. and comes from Orion Pictures, the specialist film arm of Amazon MGM Studios that handles smaller, targeted releases.

The story centres on a married couple whose rare date night turns frightening. Their babysitter goes missing while they are an hour away from their children, and the pair fight to get home.

The script is by Nelson Greaves, based on his own short story, with revisions by Lauren Schuker Blum and Rebecca Angelo, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Tillman Jr. is producing with Bob Teitel for State Street Pictures, their long-running production company.

Culkin is the youngest brother of the Culkin acting family and has built a steady run of screen work as an adult. He is also set to star in Nocturne, an Apple series opposite Stephen Graham and Liev Schreiber.

Roche, Hoskins and Lane are younger additions rounding out the ensemble. Hoskins, 11, is a Haitian-American actor known for NCIS: Origins and Them: The Scare. Lane has appeared on the school comedy Abbott Elementary and in the film If I Go Will They Miss Me.

For viewers keeping track, the shape of the film is now clearer. Two established leads carry the central couple, with four new names filling out the world around them as production moves forward.
