The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call gets Seasons 2 and 3 on Netflix

Netflix has handed The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call two more seasons at once. Seasons 2 and 3 are both in production and will stream exclusively on Netflix, meaning viewers will need a Netflix subscription to watch them. The streamer has not announced premiere dates for either season Variety.
Ju Ji-hoon returns as Baek Kang-hyuk, the sharp trauma surgeon at the centre of the story. He is joined again by Choo Young-woo as Yang Jae-won, his junior doctor in the trauma unit. Their mentor-and-protege partnership drove much of Season 1.
The wider team is staying together too. Yoon Kyung-ho is back as Han Yu-rim, and Jeong Jae-kwang returns as anaesthesiologist Park Gyeong-won, the specialist who keeps patients stable during surgery. Keeping the core unit intact keeps continuity for viewers picking up the story.
There is one new addition. Jeong Ye-in joins the cast as nurse Cheon Jang-mi, a fresh face in the emergency ward. Her arrival adds a new member to the on-call team.
Behind the camera, Lee Do-yun is returning to direct and is also writing the scripts. That double duty gives one person oversight of both the story and the shoot. The series is adapted from the webtoon Trauma Center: Golden Hour, the online comic that supplied the original characters and hospital world. Studio N and Mays Entertainment are producing the new seasons, with Netflix presenting.
The show follows a savvy doctor and his dedicated trauma unit as they take on life-or-death cases. Netflix's Tudum page lists Ju Ji-hoon, Choo Young-woo and Ha Young as the Season 1 stars Tudum.
The double order follows a strong global run. In 2025, Season 1 made the Top 10 in 63 countries and reached No. 1 in 18 of them. Netflix's What We Watched report for the first half of 2025 lists Season 1 with 34M Netflix. Netflix dated its Seasons 2 and 3 production announcement 16 October 2026.
For fans, this means the wait should come with a payoff. Two seasons made back to back keep the cast, crew and story together, so the trauma unit's next chapters can follow without a reset. No extra channel is needed. It is all on Netflix.
