MrBeast to publish Call of Duty DMZ video ahead of Modern Warfare 4 launch

MrBeast will publish a Call of Duty video on October 19 to mark the run-up to Modern Warfare 4.
He described it as “one of the biggest COD videos of all time” in a teaser posted to X on October 18, 2026. The clip carries a title screen that reads “Escape from DMZ” and points to a video built around the game’s updated DMZ mode, according to GameSpot.
It is a full-circle moment. MrBeast started his YouTube career posting Call of Duty videos. He now has more than 500 million subscribers on YouTube, making him the platform’s most recognised creator by audience size.
DMZ is the extraction part of Call of Duty, where squads fight, loot and try to survive and get out. Activision bills this version as “Fight. Loot. Survive” with story missions, new threats and earnable rewards. MrBeast’s teaser does not show full gameplay, but other creators who took part have begun posting their own teasers.
The official Call of Duty account on X joined in, posting on October 18 that tomorrow MrBeast steps into DMZ for his next mission. That post is here, with MrBeast’s original teaser here.
The timing lines up with launch week. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 releases on October 23, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, according to Call of Duty. Players who preorder get immediate campaign access, plus DMZ access from October 20. Campaign Early Access for players who digitally pre-ordered or pre-purchased began on October 16.
What makes this stand out is the crossover. A launch-week video from a creator of that size reaches well beyond regular Call of Duty viewers. For fans, this means a first big look at DMZ arrives days before everyone can play.
