Tony Revolori, Audrina Miranda, Maria Gabriella de Faria and Lou Lou Safran will star in Night At The Oasis, a coming-of-age independent film based on real events, as reported by Deadline on 19 October 2026.

The story centres on 11-year-old Lilly, played by Miranda. She is accidentally left behind at a gas station while travelling with her truck-driver father, played by Revolori. What happens during that separation forms the heart of the film.

The project was written and directed by Kim Caicedo, according to Deadline. It will be shot on 35mm film, the traditional celluloid format rather than digital cameras. The shoot will use film, not digital.

Jessica Arzate serves as director of photography, the person in charge of camera and lighting. The production is receiving support from the Los Angeles and Atlanta teams at Kodak, which supplies film stock, and from Panavision, which supplies cameras and lenses.

The wider ensemble includes Marcela Carvajal, Alysia Reiner, Connor Apolo, Ken Kirby, Noen Perez and Nishta Cattinari, Deadline reported. No character details for those roles were disclosed.

Behind the camera, the producers are Heliya Alam of LBM Pictures, Warner Davis of Hemlock Circle Productions, Caijo Films, Alvaro Gutierrez of Agora Films and Nicolas Troya of Troya Films. Revolori will also produce in addition to his leading role.

Filming was lined up for winter as of October 2026. No release date has been announced.

What makes this stand out is the format. Few low-budget features now shoot entirely on celluloid, which many viewers still recognise for its grain and warmth. For this team, that choice points to a grounded, intimate approach to a childhood mishap with lasting consequences.
