Princess Alexandra of Leiningen shares story of Whistler roadside proposal

Princess Alexandra of Leiningen, 28, has spoken about her engagement to Everett Kohl after nearly three years together.
She announced the news on Instagram on 13 October with a photograph of her ring. She has now described how the proposal happened in an exclusive interview published on 19 October, according to HELLO!. She goes by Alexa.
Kohl proposed during a morning drive from Vancouver to Whistler in Canada. The couple pulled over at a scenic lookout along the route. She said yes there.
Alexandra said the ring was designed by Kohl and carries many sentimental touches. It centres on a large diamond stone. She described it as personal to their relationship rather than chosen off the shelf.
An earlier report described the stone as a trillion cut, a triangular shape with crisp, faceted edges, and put its value at £150,000, according to HELLO!. That report also pointed to hidden details set into the design. Kohl’s own design work is where the sentimental aspects come in.
Alexandra is the youngest of Prince Hermann Friedrich of Leiningen and Deborah Cully’s three daughters. She is also the great-niece of King Simeon II of Bulgaria, according to HOLA. The Leiningen family is a German princely house with long ties to other European royal families.
She said she is excited about the engagement and the wedding ahead. She also said she is grateful for the response since sharing the news. No wedding date or venue has been announced in the material published so far.
What makes this stand out is how ordinary the setting was. No stage. No crowd. Just a roadside stop on a familiar drive, and a ring made to carry private meaning.
