World of Warcraft has a new place to get lost.

Blizzard released its Midnight 12.1.5 content update on 13 October 2026, adding the Labyrinth of Kindo'jan and a new single-boss raid, according to the publisher Blizzard. The patch is live now for owners of the Midnight expansion, the current chapter of the long-running online fantasy game.

Labyrinths are built for players who enjoy Delves. A Delve is a short, repeatable adventure designed for solo players or very small groups, usually run with a computer-controlled companion at your side. A Labyrinth takes that format and stretches it into a sprawling, mega-dungeon-like run with dedicated progression systems, powerful unlocks and rewards.

Blizzard first outlined the idea on 3 September 2026 as a deeper adventure set across Quel'thalas and Zul'Aman, the elven and troll lands at the centre of Midnight. Players can clear a Labyrinth in one long session or work through it in sections over time. Progress is kept, so the pace belongs to the player.

The first Labyrinth is Kindo'jan. Blizzard describes it as an ancient Amani funeral complex, sealed for centuries before its doors reopened. Players enter with Valeera Sanguinar, an established rogue character from the game's story, acting as guide and companion through the dark.

That opening run has nine chambers. Blizzard promotes it as a Delve-like gauntlet with a Tier 11 solo challenge, the highest solo difficulty rung, plus Mythic-level gear, the high-end equipment normally earned from the hardest group content, and cosmetics that change a character's appearance Blizzard. The 12.1.5 update also adds a separate single-boss raid, a large-group encounter built around one main enemy rather than a full line-up of bosses.

The launch needed two quick repairs. Blizzard issued hotfixes, small behind-the-scenes fixes applied without a full download, on 14 October and 16 October 2026 for the same fault in Kindo'jan. In both cases, the encounter failed to complete correctly when the boss reached 1 health, blocking the final reward and progression step.

Separately, Blizzard is preparing a second launch. WoW: Forever, a spin-off version of the game, will be playable with a monthly World of Warcraft subscription. Its beta test stays live until 21 October 2026, with full launch slated for 4 November 2026, according to GamesSpot reporting Gamespot. Executive producer Holly Longdale said the beta was setting records, and later coverage described that record interest continuing into mid-October.

For players, this means choice. Kindo'jan rewards careful routing and patience, whether in a single epic night or in short visits across a week. Forever offers a different test in November: whether a crowded beta can settle into a steady, paying crowd.
