Muna are safe after their tour bus caught fire in Burbank, California. No one was injured. The news was reported on October 19, according to Pitchfork.

The band shared the update in an Instagram post after the fire. They said many personal items were lost in the blaze. The main message was simple. Everyone is safe.

Muna later appeared on Los Angeles station KTLA 5 to talk about what happened. They joined the broadcast in person after the incident. The interview gave local viewers a direct account from the band, Pitchfork reported.

The fire happened while Muna were on the road for the It Gets So Hot Tour, according to Exclaim. A tour bus is the vehicle that carries artists and crew between shows, with bunks for sleeping and storage for equipment and luggage. A fire on board can mean the loss of instruments, clothes, documents and other personal property, as well as disruption to travel plans.

Despite that disruption, the tour will proceed as planned. Muna confirmed the run has not been cancelled or postponed. That confirmation matters for ticket-holders, venue staff and the touring crew who depend on the dates going ahead.

The next scheduled performance is on Wednesday, October 21 at Red Rocks. Red Rocks is a large open-air venue that hosts concerts. The band are expected to play there as listed.

For fans, this means the schedule holds for now. The lost items will need to be replaced. The shows, including the Red Rocks date, remain on the calendar.
