Patrick Brammall has closed two chapters at once. His comedy Colin From Accounts has ended after three seasons, just as his Apple TV thriller Last Seen released its final episode on October 7, Brammall said in an interview published October 20 Deadline.

Last Seen stars the Australian actor as Ian Ridley, a police detective searching for his young daughter Maggie, who disappeared without a trace 11 years earlier, according to Apple TV Apple TV. The series made its global debut on September 9, 2026 Apple TV. It is Apple's first Australian original, meaning the first series originated from Australia for the service.

The shoot was long. Brammall described a 100-day shoot led by director Christian Schwochow. Brendan Cowell plays Henry Reid, with Maxine Peake as Jenna Reid and Daniel Henshall as Donald Reid. Apple organised a special screening in Sydney on September 2, 2026, ahead of the launch.

Colin From Accounts was a very different job. Brammall writes, executive produces and stars in the comedy with Harriet Dyer, his real-life wife and on-screen partner. The show was commissioned by ABC in Australia, aired in the United States on Paramount+ and in the United Kingdom on the BBC.

Producers Ian Collie and Rob Gibson steered the series. Its Season 3 launch was confirmed for July Deadline. Brammall said the creators once considered centring the show on an elderly lady rather than Colin, the injured dog who gives the series its title.

For viewers, this means a clean ending. No revival is announced. No cliffhanger campaign either. Both stories have finished their runs.

Brammall is moving straight on. He plays Peter in The Devil Wears Prada 2, the love interest of Anne Hathaway's Andy Sachs. He followed that film role with parts in a pair of television series LA Times.

It is a return to darker television for him. He previously appeared in the supernatural drama Glitch more than 10 years ago. Dyer also has a separate run going, with Randall Park set to guest star in Season 2 of her new CBS show.
