Nick Kroll to Host Amazon's US Version of LOL: Last One Laughing

Nick Kroll will host the US version of LOL: Last One Laughing for Amazon.
He will also executive produce the series through his Good At Business shingle, meaning his own production company, as reported by Deadline. The commission gives the comic a central role on screen and behind the scenes.
The rules are built for short attention spans. Ten comics and comedic actors are put together in one space for six hours. They battle to make each other laugh while trying not to laugh themselves. A laugh means losing. One player survives to win.
Fulwell Entertainment is producing the US edition for Amazon. Ben Winston, Emma Conway and Eric Pankowski join Kroll as executive producers, the senior credits who steer a show creatively and financially. Pankowski will also act as showrunner, meaning the person who leads the production day to day.
The series sits within Amazon MGM Studios' nonfiction slate. Jenn Levy is Head of Nonfiction at the studio. The US order extends a format that Amazon has already rolled out in several markets.
Britain's edition is hosted by Jimmy Carr. Australia's is hosted by Rebel Wilson. Canada's version is hosted by Jay Baruchel. Mexico turns to Eugenio Derbez, South Africa to Trevor Noah and Ireland to Graham Norton. Each local host sets the tone for their own cast of comics.
What makes this stand out is the pairing of a global template with a local comic voice. The game stays the same. The jokes, timing and personalities change by market.
For viewers, this means a familiar structure with a new centre. Kroll is known in the US as a comic, actor and producer. He is also an executive producer on the FX sitcom Adults, as reported by Variety. That dual credit, host and producer, puts him in charge of the room and its humour.
Amazon MGM Studios' press site also points to more Last One Laughing on the calendar. It lists Last One Laughing: Halloween Season 1 as an Original Series for worldwide distribution from 23 October 2026. An Original Series tag means Amazon presents it as its own commission. Worldwide distribution means it is offered across the service. The site also lists LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines Season 2 as an Original Series from 30 October 2026. Those entries are undated listings and sit apart from the US announcement.
The verified reports do not include casting or a transmission date for the US version. The announcement so far names the host, the producers and the format that will bring them together.
