Legally Blonde tour with Amber Davies moves on from Wimbledon to Hull and Manchester

Amber Davies stars as Elle Woods in the UK and Ireland tour of Legally Blonde, and the production is playing Wimbledon this week. WhatsOnStage published a review of the tour on 21 October 2026.

The show is a stage musical based on the 2001 film starring Reese Witherspoon. Heather Hach wrote the book, meaning the spoken script, and the songs are by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin. The musical opened on Broadway in 2007 and reached the West End in 2010, where it won an Olivier Award, one of London theatre's top prizes.

The tour cast includes Jamie Chatterton as Warner Huntington III, Annabelle Terry as Vivienne, George Crawford as Emmett, Karen Mavundukure as Paulette, Ty-Reece Stewart as Kyle and Sprout as Bruiser Woods. Leah Hill created the choreography, and Colin Richmond designed the set.

The tour is on the road for several weeks. It opens its run at the New Wimbledon Theatre from Tuesday 20 to Saturday 24 October 2026. The New Theatre in Hull follows from Tuesday 27 to Saturday 31 October, and the Opera House in Manchester runs from Tuesday 3 to Saturday 14 November.
