Chiara Giulia Micoccio has made her debut with CGM Atelier del Borgo, a brand she founded and designs, with a resort 2027 collection produced entirely in Salento, in the Italian region of Apulia, according to WWD.

A resort collection is the range designers show between the main seasons, ahead of the main fashion weeks in New York, London, Milan and Paris. The collection is called "Trame in movimento", which means "Threads in motion". It is split into five capsules, or small linked groups of pieces, named "Terre arse", "Calce viva", "La Vesta", "Meridiana" and "Pietra".

The brand works with older handcraft. According to WWD, the collection brings back techniques such as crochet, lace and tatting, a method of making knotted lace by hand. The fabrics are loom-woven poplin and percale, both made from 100 percent cotton. Sculptural accessories include three-dimensional necklaces and textured bracelets.

The brand's name comes from Borgo Filograna, a multifunctional estate that Sergio Filograna launched in 2025 inside Palazzo Filograna, a historic residence in Spongano, Salento. The palazzo dates back to 1623. Sergio Filograna is also the founder and chief executive of Workness House Milano, a network set up in 2017 that brings together entrepreneurs and professional contacts.

Micoccio's own profile describes her as the founder and creative director of CGM, which is based in Lecce, and says the brand's clothing and accessories are made in Puglia, the Italian name for Apulia. The brand has also used social media to show how the collection was made. One behind-the-scenes video follows the process from concept to runway. A Facebook video posted on 30 September 2026 shows models wearing the outfits. A reel describes the collection as a celebration of lightness and movement, with signature prints turned into fluid silhouettes.

The label's story is the making of the clothes as much as the clothes themselves. Each piece is hand-worked in one region, from the crochet and lace to the cotton fabric and the accessories. For a first collection, that means every step of the chain sits in one place, close to the workrooms where the pieces were made.

Further details on sales, stockists or pricing had not been announced.
