Grupo Duelo received a commemorative plaque at Billboard Latin Music Week 2026, honouring two songs that reached No. 1 on Billboard's Regional Mexican Airplay chart this year. The event is held at the Faena Miami Beach.

That chart ranks songs by how often radio stations play them, so a No. 1 means a song led the national radio count for its genre that week. Grupo Duelo's two chart-toppers, "Te Cura el Tiempo" and "Para Que No Duela", both come from the album Gravedad, according to Billboard.

On Tuesday, October 20, 2026, Oscar Iván Treviño, a member of the band, sat down with Billboard Mexico correspondent Tere Aguilera for a "Milestone Moment" interview, presented by La Bonita Music. The group also performed its latest single during the event before receiving the plaque. A Billboard Latin Music Week video shows the set, which also included the two chart-toppers.

The band's year has been busy. In February 2026, Grupo Duelo signed a partnership with Warner Music, one of the three major record companies, and began its first arena tour across the United States and Mexico with Live Nation, the concert promoter and ticketing company. During the Gravedad Tour, the group played three sold-out shows at Houston's Toyota Center.

Duelo also took part in the event's "Los No. 1s" panel, where the band talked about bringing traditional regional Mexican music, a family of long-standing Mexican styles, to the conference stage. Billboard Español reported on the plaque in Spanish the same day.

For fans who follow the band, the plaque is a public marker of a run of chart success. For anyone new to the act, it is a clear starting point: two chart-topping songs, one album, and a tour that sold out in Houston.
