JAFF Market Names 14 Producers for Debut Exchange Ahead of November Run in Yogyakarta

Indonesia's JAFF Market will hold its third edition from 28 to 30 November in Yogyakarta, and its debut Producers Exchange has picked 14 producers, Variety reported on 22 October 2026.
The market runs alongside the Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival, known as JAFF. A film market is a place where projects are pitched, financed and sold, often long before a finished film reaches a cinema. Linda Gozali is the market director, and Amar Bank is the sponsor this year.
The selection includes the producers behind Mother Bhumi, Rehana Maryam Noor and The Tourist. A producer is the person who puts a film together, finding the money, the crew and the rights. Wong Kew Soon, from Malaysia, produced Mother Bhumi, starring Fan Bingbing. That film won three Golden Horse Awards and played in the main competition at the Tokyo International Film Festival. Wong also produced Snow in Midsummer, which won the Firebird Award for best film at the Hong Kong International Film Festival.
Rajib Mohajan was a producer on Rehana Maryam Noor, which screened in Un Certain Regard, the side section of the Cannes Film Festival, in 2021.
Lisa Scott and Rae Choi joined the Producers Exchange through a tie-up between JAFF Market and the Adelaide Film Festival in Australia. Scott's credits include The Tourist, Pine Gap, Wolf Creek and Janet King. Indonesia is represented in the exchange by Nana Riskhi and Nick Musa. Taiwan's Shao-Yi Chen is general manager of Screenworks Asia.
The lineup also takes in a wider festival circuit. Jason Karman's debut feature, Golden Delicious, has played 62 festivals.
JAFF Market describes itself as Indonesia's first and largest film market. This year's edition is the third, which means the Producers Exchange is the first time the programme has used this format. The dates are fixed now, so producers, sales agents and buyers who plan their autumn and winter schedules around Yogyakarta have a clear window to work with.
