The soundtrack for the third season of Netflix comedy Nobody Wants This arrives on Friday, Oct. 23, on Atlantic Records. It includes 16 songs that have never been released before.

The season itself lands one day earlier, with 10 new episodes on Netflix. The show debuted in 2024 and follows an agnostic podcaster, played by Kristen Bell, and a rabbi, played by Adam Brody, as their relationship tests both of their beliefs. Each season comes with a companion album, a collection of songs tied to the show that fans can stream or buy, separate from the episodes themselves.

The lineup mixes genres and generations. Miley Cyrus is on the album with "Cold Blooded," according to Netflix Tudum, and a demo version of her song "You" also appears, as Rolling Stone reported. J Balvin's track is called "Click Click Flash." Other artists on the album include Ellie Goulding, Ravyn Lenae, Metric, and Bella Kay. Metric contributes "Romanticize the Dive," and Elle Coves has "ILOVEYOU." Bailey Zimmerman and Stella Lefty sing a duet.

Megan Moroney wrote an original song for the album, "Say When," with Jessie Jo Dillon and Luke Laird. Most of the other tracks were songs the artists already had in hand, according to Billboard. That makes the album a mix of new recordings and material that was waiting for the right project.

The album is produced under The Core Entertainment, where Simon Tikhman is co-founder and CEO. He is executive producer of the companion album. Tikhman has been married to the show's creator and writer, Erin Foster, since 2019. Jeff Levin, Chief Zaruk and Ian Cripps are producers on the soundtrack. Music supervisors Manish Raval, Tom Wolfe and Jonathan Leahy also worked on it.

The last companion album, for Season 2, featured Selena Gomez, Kacey Musgraves, Role Model and Ella Langley. The Season 3 release continues that pattern of pairing a streaming series with a full album of songs, many of them unheard until now.

For listeners, the practical point is simple. The songs are available from Friday, and the episodes are already streaming. Anyone who wants to hear the 16 unreleased tracks can do so the same week the show's new season is out, with no need to wait for a radio or chart debut.
