Exodus Gives Male Jun a New Look Ahead of April 2027 Launch

Archetype Entertainment has reworked the male version of Jun Aslan, the player character in its space role-playing game Exodus. General manager Chad Robertson showed the updated model in a video on the studio's YouTube channel, which runs 1 minute 23 seconds.
The change followed player feedback. GameSpot reported that the male model was refined in response to comments from players. Archetype was co-founded by former BioWare developers Chad Robertson, James Ohlen and Drew Karpyshyn.
Jun is the character players build themselves. Players choose whether Jun is male or female, then customise hairstyle, hair colour, facial hair, eye colour, makeup and tattoos. Archetype describes Exodus as a cinematic single-player action RPG, a game built around story and choices, set in a new far-future science fiction universe. In it, Jun rises from salvager to Traveler to fight for the future of their homeworld.
The female version of Jun has not been shown yet. Archetype says that reveal is coming soon. The game is scheduled to launch on 7 April 2027.
The studio's October 2026 community update, titled "An Updated Look at Jun", was published on 22 October 2026. It also marked a player milestone. Exodus passed 500,000 wishlists, a count of players who have saved the game on a storefront to follow it. That unlocked a Celestial Star Map apartment decoration, concept art and the score track "Elegy for a Forgotten World."
The next goal is 1 million wishlists. Archetype lists the rewards for that milestone as Salt's Companion Story Cinematic, a Jun Casual Outfit Bundle for both male and female Jun, and two radio music tracks. Salt the Octopus is a crew member in the game.
Press and content creators have also played the mission "Liberating the Kay" on Khonsu, one of the game's locations, according to the update.
