Magician Harry Milas Brings Promenade Show to Shoreditch Town Hall

Australian magician Harry Milas is bringing a new show to east London this winter. It will be staged in the historic rooms and corridors of Shoreditch Town Hall.
The show, Harry Milas: Magic In The Ditch, runs at the Ditch in the building from 20 November to 11 December 2026. That is three weeks only, according to WhatsOnStage, which reported the announcement on 22 October 2026.
The production is a promenade show. That means the audience moves through the space rather than sitting in one seat facing a stage. Milas, who created and performs the show, mixes sleight of hand (tricks done with quick, skilful movements of the hands) with storytelling and stunts.
The show will be directed by Patrick Marber, a Tony Award-winning director. The Tonys are the top prizes in American theatre, handed out for work on Broadway in New York.
The creative team includes Isabella Van Braeckel as designer and Sarah Spencer as sound designer and composer. Nathan Wilson is magic consultant, advising on the tricks and how they are presented. Wild Yak are the general managers, handling the running of the production day to day.
The show is produced by Barbary Bry and Neil Senturia. A producer is the person or company who raises the money and takes responsibility for getting a show on stage.
What makes the venue unusual is the building itself. Shoreditch Town Hall is a historic civic building, and the show uses its rooms and corridors as part of the experience. For an audience, that means the building becomes part of the performance, with each part of the route offering something different to look at.
Because the run is short, the dates are the key detail for anyone planning to go. The show opens on 20 November and closes on 11 December 2026.
