Million Dollar Quartet Confirms Full London Transfer Cast from Barn Theatre
The entire Barn Theatre company of Million Dollar Quartet will transfer to London this September, with every cast member reprising their role from the Cirencester run.
Connor Payne returns as Elvis Presley, Christopher Erasmus as Johnny Cash, Joe Bence as Jerry Lee Lewis and Joey Bradick as Carl Perkins — the four musicians at the heart of the show. Darren Day plays record producer Sam Phillips, with Jenay Naima as Dyanne, Geraint Downing as Brother Jay and Josh Haberfield as W S "Fluke" Holland rounding out the company. All eight reprise the roles they played at the Barn Theatre in Cirencester, where the production ran from June to August 2025 before its London transfer was announced (WhatsOnStage; British Theatre).
Jonathan O'Boyle directs. Joanna Goodwin provides choreography, Libby Watson designs set and costumes, Alex Musgrave handles lighting, Nick Lodge sound, and Lee Freeman serves as musical supervisor.
The London run plays at The Arts at Marble Arch — a venue powered by TodayTix, the ticketing platform — from 4 September to 6 December 2026. Press night is 15 September. The engagement follows an extended run at the Barn Theatre and continues the venue's Built By Barn initiative, a programme that develops productions in Cirencester before touring or transferring them.

Million Dollar Quartet dramatises a real event: on 4 December 1956, Presley, Cash, Lewis and Perkins gathered for an impromptu recording session at Sun Records in Memphis. The score draws on songs each artist made famous, including "Blue Suede Shoes," "Fever," "Walk the Line" and "Hound Dog."
The musical, with a book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux, premiered on Broadway in 2010 and made its West End debut at the Noël Coward Theatre in 2011. It returned to London as part of a UK tour in 2016 and 2017.
A separate American production of the same title, mounted by Riverside, has also announced its cast — James Barry as Carl Perkins, Sam Cieri as Elvis, Scott Moreau as Johnny Cash, Nat Zegree as Jerry Lee Lewis and Jason Loughlin as Sam Phillips (Playbill). That staging is unrelated to the Barn Theatre transfer.
For audiences, the transfer means a regional production that built its reputation in a 300-seat Cotswolds venue gets a London platform with the cast that earned it the attention intact — no replacements, no star-name swap.
