Casey Bloys Names Content Leadership Team for Skydance DTC

Casey Bloys has named the content leadership team for Skydance DTC, the division that oversees both HBO Max and Paramount+. DTC stands for "direct-to-consumer," the industry term for streaming services that sell shows straight to viewers rather than through TV channels.
Bloys, who headed up HBO and HBO Max before this, is co-chair and chief content officer of Skydance DTC, according to Variety. A chief content officer sets the overall direction for what a company makes and shows. He will oversee both services.
Bloys announced the rest of the team in a Deadline report on 23 October 2026. Francesca Orsi is president of HBO Drama Series and Films. Amy Gravitt is executive vice president of HBO Programming and head of comedy series for HBO and HBO Max. Nancy Abraham and Lisa Heller are co-executive vice presidents of HBO Documentary Programming.
Sarah Aubrey takes on a wider remit as head of Paramount+, Max Originals and International Programming. "Originals" is the industry word for shows a streaming service commissions and owns, rather than buying from elsewhere. Her title now covers the originals work at both services, plus programming made outside the United States.
Jane Wiseman is leaving her post as executive vice president and head of Originals for Paramount+. Her team will now report to Aubrey. Wiseman's departure is the one change in the announcement that removes a current job rather than moving one.
Glenn Whitehead will serve as president and chief operating officer for HBO and Paramount+. A chief operating officer runs day-to-day business, such as budgets, staffing and operations, while the content chiefs decide what gets made. Jeff Cusson is now executive vice president and head of communications for Skydance DTC, which means he leads the company's public relations. Nina Rosenstein is also named in the announcement.
For the people behind the scenes, the practical question is who signs off on which shows. Each named executive now has a defined place in one structure that covers HBO's drama, comedy and documentary work and Paramount+'s originals. Paramount Skydance is led by chief executive David Ellison.
No new shows, renewals or cancellations were part of the announcement.
