Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Is Live Worldwide, With a Veterans' Charity Pack

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is live worldwide, according to the official Call of Duty blog. The game launched on 23 October 2026, and the publisher, Activision, describes it as the newest entry in its military shooter series.
The game includes a brand-new Campaign, the single-player story mode. It also adds 20 multiplayer maps and Hajin, a new location in DMZ, the mode where players try to escape a map with the gear they gathered along the way.
A second release is tied to the same day. The C.O.D.E. Valor Pack is an add-on for Modern Warfare 4, listed at US$19.99. It is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, PlayStation 5, Battle.net, Steam and Nintendo Switch 2, and it is scheduled for a day-one release on 23 October, according to posts from the Call of Duty Endowment.
The pack was made in close collaboration with Kyle Carpenter, a United States Marine Corps veteran. Carpenter is a Medal of Honor recipient, the highest United States military decoration for valour. The official Call of Duty site presents the pack as part of its work with the Endowment.
The Call of Duty Endowment, known as C.O.D.E., gives grants to charities that prepare veterans to compete for high-quality jobs. It also works to raise awareness of the value veterans bring to the workplace. Money from the pack goes to that work, according to the Endowment's own pages.
For players who want to know more about the pack, the Endowment's blog is running a behind-the-scenes series called Forged in Valor. The series follows the making of the pack, with Carpenter taking part. The official Call of Duty blog has also published a feature on how the pack was made, titled "Forged in Valor, A Look into the Making of the Call of Duty Endowment (C.O.D.E.) Valor Pack."
Modern Warfare 4 is available now on the platforms listed by the publisher. Players who buy the Valor Pack will find it in the same storefronts as the base game.
