Jay-Z Closes His Jay-Z 30 Tour in Los Angeles With Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Too Short

Jay-Z ended his Jay-Z 30 Tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles with a guest list that brought Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Too Short onto the stage. Rolling Stone reported that the second of his two Los Angeles concerts at the stadium was the final date of the run.
Too Short performed his 2006 hit "Blow the Whistle" as a guest, and Jay-Z added his "Playoff" freestyle, a rap written and performed on the spot over a beat. Before Snoop Dogg came out, Jay-Z rapped "D'Evils" over the instrumental of Snoop's "Murder Was the Case."
Then Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre took over for a medley, a run of songs linked together with little or no pause. They performed "The Next Episode," "California Love," "Nothin' But a 'G' Thang" and "Still D.R.E."
The pair have shared big stages before. Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg headlined the Super Bowl halftime show at SoFi Stadium in February 2022, opening with "The Next Episode" and a tribute to Tupac Shakur with "California Love," according to Billboard.
The night before, Jay-Z's guests were just as varied. His daughter Blue Ivy joined him for "The Story of O.J." and "Dead Presidents." Scarface performed "This Can't Be Life" and "Mind Playing Tricks" with him. DJ Khaled and John Legend joined for "God Did," the song that closed that show.
The tour began in July with three nights at Yankee Stadium in New York, followed by shows in London and Paris. A Jay-Z 30 pop-up experience ran in Los Angeles at 7007 Romaine St., Suite 106, open daily from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., according to a Roc Nation post.
During the encore, Jay-Z addressed rumours about the show's attendance. He also urged the crowd to question what they see and hear, especially when it comes to artificial intelligence and misinformation, meaning false or misleading information passed on as fact.
Variety published its report on the closing concert early on Sunday, 25 October, Pacific time.
For fans who could not make it to Los Angeles, the closing night's setlist and guest appearances are the clearest picture of how the run ended. The tour's guest roster leaned on the artists who shaped Jay-Z's career in Los Angeles hip-hop, and the final night put that history on display.
