Georgia Juvelis to Step Down as AMC Global Media's Communications Chief

Georgia Juvelis is stepping down as chief communications officer of AMC Global Media at the end of 2026, and the company will not fill the role after she leaves. She announced the decision in an internal memo to staff, according to Deadline.
Juvelis has spent 19 years at the company. She joined in 2007 as a vice president, when it was still called Rainbow Media. In 2017 she and Jim Maiella became senior vice presidents and co-heads of corporate communications. She was promoted to chief communications officer in September 2023, reporting to chief executive Kristin Dolan.
The company's communications set-up is changing too. Instead of one central team handling communications for the whole group, AMC Global Media will move to a model in which each business runs its own communications team. Those teams will work independently while still collaborating with each other.
Olivia Dupuis, who was promoted to executive vice president of publicity in May 2025, reported to Juvelis at the time of that promotion, according to Deadline's report on the move. Jim Maiella also holds the title of executive vice president at the company.
Juvelis's exit closes a 19-year run that began when the company was still Rainbow Media. Her departure date is set for the end of 2026.
