Nobody Wants This Co-Star Tovah Feldshuh Responds to Adam Brody on Israel and Gaza

Tovah Feldshuh, who plays the mother of Adam Brody's character on Netflix's Nobody Wants This, has publicly disagreed with her co-star's comments about Israel and Gaza.
Brody plays Rabbi Noah Roklov, a progressive California rabbi. In a September interview with GQ, he accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza. "Put me down as thinking it's a genocide. Put me down as wanting a free Palestine," he said, as Deadline reported. Brody was raised Jewish, and he is also known for his role in The O.C.
Feldshuh, who plays Bina, Noah's mother, responded in remarks the New York Post published on October 25, 2026. "To accuse the Jewish people of genocide is wild," she said. She went further, calling such accusations "right out of Hitler's playbook." The Post's piece presented her remarks as an opinion column.
Her reply is not the only public disagreement. Nobody Wants This creator Erin Foster has said she disagrees with Brody's position on Palestine, according to Deadline.
The series has run on Netflix for a while. Its second season premiered on the streaming service on October 23, 2025, with Kristen Bell co-starring alongside Brody. The show's cast and crew have worked together across that run, and the on-screen family at its centre is built around Brody's and Feldshuh's characters.
Public arguments between actors and their characters' families are rare, and this one touches a subject where many people hold strong views.
