London band Factory Floor will release a new album, One Trip, on 27 November, their first full-length record in ten years. Pitchfork reported the release date, and the record is coming out on the Phantasy Sound label.

The album is led by a double single, two tracks released together as one package: "Continuation" and "One Trip." The band's current lineup is Nik Colk Void, Gabe Gurnsey and Joe Ward. Void and Gurnsey were in the group from the start. Ward is a new addition.

The band first made its name with a self-titled debut album on the DFA label in 2013. That record has 10 tracks and included the single "Fall Back." A second album, 25 25, followed in 2016. Dominic Butler was part of the group before that record, and he left before it came out.

Factory Floor returned to the stage in 2024 at Mutek, an electronic music festival. The new album is the next step in that comeback.

The band also has a live date lined up. On 5 December, Factory Floor will play a new live show at the Barbican in London, an arts centre, supporting the band Squid. The Barbican night comes about a week after the album is due out.

For fans waiting on a new record, the timetable is now fixed. The album arrives on 27 November, and the London show follows on 5 December.
