Nintendo Schedules New Indie World Showcase for October 28

Nintendo has announced a new Indie World Showcase, a short broadcast of independent games, and it goes out on 28 October. The show will feature indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, according to Eurogamer.
Indie games are made by small, independent teams rather than large publishers. Nintendo's Indie World events are a regular way for the company to highlight that work on its consoles. Nswitch 2 is the newer of the two systems, and the original Switch continues to be supported alongside it.
The timing depends on where you live. The showcase starts at 7 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) on 28 October. It also airs at 10 a.m. Eastern Time (ET), which is 2 p.m. GMT, and at 3 p.m. Central European time. Readers in the UK will find it at 2 p.m. on the same day.
The broadcast runs for roughly 15 minutes. That makes it one of the shorter formats in Nintendo's schedule, so there is little room for filler. Each slot is spent on a game or a set of games.
Nintendo also keeps an official Indie World page on its website, at nintendo.com/us/indie-world. It lists the series and gives fans a single place to look for each new presentation.
Anyone planning to watch should check the start time for their own region before the broadcast begins. The showcase is set for the morning of 28 October in the Pacific time zone, and the afternoon in most of Europe.
