The second LDNDOCS festival runs from 20 to 22 November in central London, and its 2026 lineup includes 14 documentary features, according to Deadline, which published the lineup on 27 October 2026.

The festival opens with Once Upon a Time in Harlem. Barbara Kopple, the documentary filmmaker, will present her film Union Town during the event.

A documentary is a non-fiction film, built from real people and real events rather than actors and scripts. LDNDOCS calls itself an intimate showcase of that kind of cinema, and it is aimed at audiences in the capital. The festival's own website gives the dates as 20 to 22 November at the Curzon Bloomsbury, and lists it as a Save the Date for that run.

Screenings will be spread across three venues: the Curzon Bloomsbury Cinema, Bertha DocHouse and the Garden Cinema. Three cinemas in one weekend means audiences can move between screenings in the same part of London.

The festival was founded by Ben Fowlie, who has also run film events before. Fowlie previously founded the Camden International Film Festival in Maine, in the United States, one of the best-known gatherings for documentary work in North America. Bringing that background to London gives the new event a clear shape: a small festival, built around nonfiction films and the people who make them.

For anyone who has enjoyed a documentary in recent years, the 2026 edition offers a weekend of new titles in one place. The full screening times and ticket details are on the festival's website.
