Foo Fighters performed "This Is A Call" on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026. Billboard described the performance as tight and loud.

The song comes from the band's first self-titled album. It was one of the older songs in a week of appearances that the band is spending on the late-night show, which is running a Halloween takeover.

The band kicked off a four-night musical residency on the show. A residency means the same act returns across several consecutive episodes. On Monday, Oct. 26, the group played "Window" from Your Favorite Toy, its 12th studio album. A studio album is a record made in a recording studio, as opposed to a live recording. Jimmy Kimmel Live posted the performance on Oct. 26, and ABC lists the clip at 3:49 long.

ABC's schedule named Dave Grohl as the guest for the Monday episode, with Foo Fighters as the musical guest. In comments reported by ABC, Grohl talked about the band performing all week on the show. He also said the band will headline KROQ's Almost Acoustic Christmas event.

The show airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. Eastern and 10:35 p.m. Central on ABC, and it streams on Hulu.

The residency is not the band's only stop. Billboard reports that Foo Fighters will start a stadium tour of Australia next week, once the Kimmel appearances end. Stadium tours play in large sports venues, often to tens of thousands of fans a night.

For the people who work on the tour, the schedule means a shift from television studios to arenas. Crews, drivers and venue staff tend to be booked months ahead, and a run of dates in a new country means planning for travel, equipment and hotels. Those details are not yet public, so for now the news is simply where the band will be next.

For viewers, the easiest way to catch the performances is the show's own channels, where clips appear within a day or two of each taping. The band's Australian dates will be announced through the tour's own channels.
