Sony has announced a Prism Collection of transparent PlayStation 5 accessories, including three DualSense controllers and three console covers. The DualSense is the PS5's main controller. Each item has a clear element, so players can see inside.

The colours are Flare Orange, Emerald Green and Graphite Gray. According to Video Games Chronicle, Sony says the range is meant to give players a closer look at the design and craftsmanship of the controller and console.

The controllers have a high-gloss clear finish across the back. That lets players look at the technology inside the DualSense. The console covers are the outer panels that change how the PS5 looks.

Pre-orders start on November 10. The controllers and matching console covers are scheduled for release on February 4, 2027.

Prices vary by region. The DualSense controllers cost US$84.99, ¥12,480, €84.99 and £74.99 in the United States, Japan, the eurozone and the United Kingdom. The console covers cost US$74.99, ¥9,980, €74.99 and £64.99.

Sony's announcement gives no details on how many units will be produced, or whether the range will be sold outside the listed regions. Those details are not yet public.

For players who already own a PS5, the new covers and controllers are optional accessories. The console and standard controllers are not affected by the announcement.

The release is about three months away from the pre-order opening, so buyers will have time to decide which colour to choose.
