Nintendo's Indie World Show Packs 23 Games Into 15 Minutes
Nintendo's latest Indie World presentation showed 23 independent games in 15 minutes on October 28, 2026. The broadcast, which features games from smaller studios rather than Nintendo's own teams, went out at 2pm GMT, or 7am Pacific, as scheduled.
Most of the titles are coming to Switch 2, Nintendo's newer console. Several also run on the original Switch. Video Games Chronicle has published the full list of games shown.
The nearest release is Sword of the Sea, which arrives on Switch 2 on October 29. Spirit Crossing follows on November 16. It is a console exclusive, meaning it is only available on Nintendo's consoles, and it will be playable on both Switch and Switch 2. Witchbrook comes to Switch and Switch 2 on January 28.
Several games have dates in 2027. Slime Rancher 2 is set for Switch 2 in January. Dumpster Gang follows on Switch 2 in March, and Super Battle Golf arrives on Switch 2 on March 25. Haunted Paws comes to Switch and Switch 2 in May, and Threads of Time arrives on both consoles in Summer 2027.
Other titles have looser windows. Winds of Viridia is due on Switch 2 in early 2027, and Kitsune: The Journey of Adashino lands on Switch and Switch 2 in Spring 2027. City of None is coming to both consoles in 2027, while Tenjutsu and R.E.P.O. are set for Switch 2 that year. A studio's "2027" means the year is set but the month is not. Those games can still move.
Nintendo also said, in an update on its Malaysian site, that Blue Prince and Unrailed 2 are coming to Switch 2. That update did not give dates for either game.
Indie games often reach Switch after their first release on other platforms, and some of the titles in this show have been developed for several years before reaching Nintendo's consoles. The presentation gives players a first look at a long list of release plans, though each date can change before it arrives.
