Travis Kelce has responded to Prince William's account of a 2024 group photo with Taylor Swift, saying "I get it, man" on the October 28 episode of New Heights, the podcast he hosts with his brother Jason Kelce.

The comments came from William's appearance on The Graham Norton Show, a British chat programme, on October 23. He told the host that he had tried to move Kelce out of the picture, so that it was just him, Swift and the children. The selfie included Prince George and Princess Charlotte as well as Swift and Kelce. It was taken during Swift's Eras Tour concerts, her stadium tour, in London.

On the podcast, Travis and Jason Kelce both reacted to the remark. Billboard reported that Travis Kelce said he was "just a boyfriend at that point" and "wasn't her husband yet" when the photo was taken.

The picture also carries a bit of history for Swift's own account. It was the first photo with Kelce that she posted there. Billboard and other outlets have described it as a backstage photograph, taken after the show.

Earlier this year, People reported that Kelce had performed on stage as one of Swift's backup dancers during her London show before the selfie was taken. That detail places him inside the concert, not only in the dressing area, when the photo was made.

For anyone who has not followed the story, the core point is simple. A royal said he would have preferred a different group photo, and the man in it answered on his own podcast a few days later. Kelce's reply was light, and it did not dispute the account. Swift has not publicly responded to the remarks so far.
