Epcot Replaces Beach Boys With John Stamos Act for November Shows

The Beach Boys are no longer on the bill for their scheduled November 11 and 12 shows at Epcot, the theme park at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Rolling Stone reported that the park has replaced the band with an act billed as "John Stamos and the California Sound."
The two Epcot performances were set for the park's America Gardens Theatre. Epcot is one of the largest attractions in the Disney resort, and the shows were part of its regular concert programme for visitors.
The change comes after a stretch of concerts that raised questions about the band's health. The Beach Boys had not performed since shows in Cincinnati and Nashville, where frontman Mike Love appeared frail and largely unable to sing or stand, according to Rolling Stone. Love co-founded the group, which is best known for hits such as "Good Vibrations."
Earlier this year, Love said John Stamos would join the band for performances tied to celebrations of 250 years of the United States. In a Facebook post dated June 30, 2026, Love wrote that Stamos would join the group. Stamos is an actor, and the Epcot billing places him at the front of the act that will take the park stage in November.
Rolling Stone also reported that a November 13 show at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Bristol, Virginia, was still on the schedule when its report was published. After Bristol, the next date listed is May 8, 2027, at River Cree Resort and Casino Enoch in Alberta, Canada.
For anyone who planned a trip to Orlando around the Epcot dates, the plans have changed. The Bristol show is the next scheduled date on the calendar, and the band's next listed date after that is in Canada in May.
