Prime Video has added eight series regulars to its adaptation of Benjamin Stevenson's bestselling novel Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone. A series regular is a main cast member, someone who appears throughout the season rather than in a single episode. Variety reported the additions on 29 October 2026.

The show is a dark comedy set in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, a rural region in the north-east of the state. Penn Badgley, who was already announced as the lead, plays Ern Cunningham, a mystery-writing expert. Ern helped convict his brother Michael. Now he attends a family reunion to welcome Michael home from prison.

The reunion does not go to plan. Deadline describes a frozen body appearing and a snowstorm trapping the family as deaths mount.

Patricia Clarkson plays Audrey, a widowed mother who has become a pariah in her own family. Felix Solis plays Marcelo, Audrey's second husband. Daniella Garcia plays Dr Sofia Garcia, Marcelo's daughter, who is keeping a secret. Elizabeth Marvel plays Katherine, Audrey's sister, and Sean Astin plays Andy, Katherine's husband.

Annaleigh Ashford, Chris Walley and Eliza Bennett complete the list of new regulars.

Behind the camera, David Hemingson will adapt the novel and serve as showrunner and executive producer. A showrunner runs the writers' room and oversees the show from script to screen. Alexandra Broksky has joined as an executive producer and will direct half the episodes, including the premiere and the season finale.

Amazon MGM Studios, Fifth Season and Made Up Stories are co-producing the series. Made Up Stories' executive producers are Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky and Jeanne Snow. Molly Allen is also an executive producer, alongside Badgley and Stevenson himself.

The reports do not yet give a premiere date or the number of episodes. What is clear is the size of the group now on the project: a lead, eight more regulars, a showrunner, a director for half the season and three production companies. For a show with a frozen body and a snowstorm, that is a lot of people who will be spending a winter on set.
