Gloria Trevi to Receive Artista Oro at HEAT Latin Music Awards in Puerto Vallarta

Gloria Trevi will be honoured as Artista Oro, or Golden Artist, at the HEAT Latin Music Awards, the organisers and Billboard reported on 29 October 2026. She is also set to perform during the ceremony.
The ceremony will take place at the International Convention Center in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico. It will be the first time the HEAT Latin Music Awards has been held in Mexico. The show will be broadcast live on LosHeat.tv on Thursday, 5 November.
The awards are part of a wider run of events called HEAT Week, which runs from 31 October to 5 November. Activities are scheduled in both Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta. Diana Montes is chief executive of the HEAT Latin Music Awards.
Trevi's list of achievements is long. According to the same report, she has sold out 55 concerts at Mexico City's Auditorio Nacional and 14 at Arena CDMX. She has sold more than 30 million albums and has racked up 7 billion streams, the plays counted by music services such as Spotify and Apple Music. In April 2026 she received the Lifetime Achievement Award at Billboard Latin Women in Music, where she performed "No Estás Sola."
She now works independently, releasing music through her own label, Great Talent Records. Her 15th studio album is being prepared for early 2027. Two songs have been released as its first singles: "Intensamente," which she recorded with her children Ángel and Armando Gómez, and "Pompas de Jabón."
Honours like Artista Oro are given to an artist for a career rather than a single release. For the people who organise the HEAT Week events, that means a full programme of shows, travel and staging in two cities over six days. For fans, it also means a first chance to see a major Latin music awards night staged on Mexican soil.
The ceremony is scheduled for 5 November, and the live stream on LosHeat.tv gives viewers outside Puerto Vallarta a way to watch it as it happens.
