The Last Cowboy Season 7 Premieres on CMT on November 6

Season 7 of The Last Cowboy lands on CMT on Nov. 6 at 8 p.m., according to Variety. The new run has six episodes.
The series is a sports documentary from Taylor Sheridan, the writer and producer behind several big drama series. It follows top riders in three Western equine sports: reining, a precision pattern done at a gallop; cutting, where a rider separates a single cow from a herd; and cow horse, a test of skill and control in the arena. The show follows these riders as they prepare for Sheridan's "Run for a Million" competition.
This season, the road to that competition runs through Sheridan's Bosque Ranch. The champion will be awarded $1 million.
Viewers who miss the premiere won't have to wait long for the next instalment. Episodes will be available the following day on CMT VOD, meaning video on demand, which lets people watch whenever they like rather than at a set broadcast time. Viewers can also watch the earlier seasons without any catching up on the TV schedule. The first six seasons are available to stream on Paramount+.
The show is produced for CMT by Truly Original, a Banijay America company. Banijay is a global production group that makes shows across the world, and its US arm handles this series.
For the riders, the season is the stretch that leads to the competition itself. For fans who have followed the show from the start, the Bosque Ranch setting is the new element this year. For anyone new to the series, the six-episode run and the streaming archive make it simple to start from the beginning before the season is finished.
Nov. 6 is the date to note. Episodes after the premiere arrive on CMT VOD the day after each broadcast, and the earlier seasons stay on Paramount+ for anyone who wants to watch them first.
