Walton Goggins has finished filming Season 3 of Fallout, the Prime Video series where he plays the Ghoul. Deadline reported the wrap on 29 October 2026.

Goggins marked the end of the shoot with a short video of himself driving a convertible through the desert, top down. He captioned it "Gonna miss you California… til the next time." Separately, GamesRadar reported that he also posted the line "Just took it off for the last time."

The Ghoul is an irradiated bounty hunter. Amazon MGM Studios describes him as a morally ambiguous character, meaning he is neither clearly good nor clearly bad, and that uncertainty is central to how he is written.

Prime Video renewed Fallout for a third season in May 2025, before the second season had premiered. An early renewal is a commitment to make more episodes before viewers have seen the last ones. For a show with a big cast and sets spread across several locations, it also gives the production time to plan.

Season 3 has new faces as well. Aaron Paul, Manny Jacinto, Emily Mortimer and Thomasin McKenzie joined the cast. Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias and Frances Turner also appear alongside Goggins.

Goggins is also moving on to a new project. Deadline reported that he has joined Michael B. Jordan and Austin Butler in the cast of Miami Vice '85, a Universal production.

Wrapping filming means the last scene of the season has been shot. Editing, sound and visual effects follow, and a premiere usually comes months later. Until a streaming service announces a date, fans will have to wait for the season to arrive.
