Warner Bros. International TV Production Moves Under Skydance TV Studios

Warner Bros. International TV Production, the unit that makes local versions of reality shows for broadcasters around the world, will sit under Skydance TV Studios, Deadline reported on 29 October 2026.
The unit will be overseen by Channing Dungey, who runs Warner Bros. Television Group. Dungey currently holds the title of Chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. Television Group and U.S. Networks. Variety reported on 28 October that she will keep leading the group's scripted, unscripted and animation studios.
Ronald Goes is President of Warner Bros. International TV Production. Until now he reported to Gerhard Zeiler, who was President, International, at Warner Bros. Discovery.
The unit works through around 20 production companies across the world. It makes international versions of The Bachelor franchise, First Dates and FBoy Island. A format is a show idea that a producer sells to broadcasters in other countries. Each broadcaster then makes its own version, with local hosts and local contestants.
The move is the latest step in a reshuffle at Skydance, the company that now runs Paramount. Skydance has put its three TV studios, Warner Bros. TV, CBS Studios and Paramount TV Studios, under George Cheeks. Cheeks is Co-Chair of Skydance TV. Ynon Kreiz is co-CEO of Skydance.
Earlier in October, Deadline reported that Dungey was in line for an expanded role overseeing both Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery cable networks. It also reported that she had added the Paramount cable networks to her portfolio. Deadline said she is believed to have signed a new multi-year deal to match her wider role.
Dungey is staying on at Skydance and reporting to Cheeks. For the people who make these shows, the change is mostly about who sits at the top of the chain. The shows themselves, and the broadcasters that buy them, stay where they are.
The change is in reporting lines, not in what the unit makes. Watch for a formal announcement from Skydance or Warner Bros. on how the international unit will be run day to day.
