Netflix has renewed the animated series Haunted Hotel for a third season, with the new episodes slated to premiere in 2027. Deadline reported the renewal on 30 October 2026.

A renewal means the streaming service has decided to order more episodes of a show that is already on air. For viewers, it means the story keeps going. There is no need to wait for a new series to be chosen.

The show was created by Matt Roller. It follows a single mother of two who is struggling to run a hotel that happens to be haunted. The voice cast includes Will Forte, Eliza Coupe, Skyler Gisondo, Natalie Palamides and Jimmi Simpson.

Netflix says the first season, released in September 2025, has racked up more than 15 million views. A view, in Netflix's own counting, is one of its headline audience figures for each title. The company has not, in the material reported so far, broken that total down by country or by week.

The second season kept the momentum going. It debuted on Netflix's Global English TV Top 10, a weekly chart that ranks the most-watched English-language shows across the service's international audience. Netflix has said the show made that list.

Renewals like this one are a common route for animated series on streaming. Animation takes many months of drawing, voice recording and editing, so a show's next season is usually planned well before it reaches screens. That work, and the animators and writers behind it, is why a renewal date tends to be announced early.

For now, the key date is 2027. Netflix has not yet announced a month for the third season's premiere, and no further episode count has been published.
